Breaking The Cycle
Everyone has his or her own life-cycle of how we react to things and how we attract more of those things.
This life-cycle is nothing but your daily life situation, circumstances, and experiences.
It’s kind of an autopilot for the way we live our lives.
This is where one situation or event leads to another and you also wake up again tomorrow to run the next day to catch those events or experiences of life.
In life, you may find a situation where you feel you have been doing everything right and you are still failing to get the results you want.
You might be struggling with problems ranging from ongoing financial troubles and debt, lack of successful relationships, lack of success in your business, or even sickness.
Against this background, you need to take a look at your cycle to see what’s missing and fight hard to break that cycle.
Failure is not the opposite of success.
It’s not something to be avoided at all costs.
Obviously, our goal isn’t to fail, but that failure is only a temporary setback on a bigger, more significant course.
Everybody goes through failure at one point or another.
What is important is how you react and learn from that setback.
When this happens, it is important to know there is a cycle of improvement.
If you recognize the cycle, you can break away from it and start getting results.
This is why it’s very important to understand the life-cycle, which is going on in you.
It’s actually created in our mind by the way we think and what we believe.
And it can make you repeat the same cycle of life over and over again if you don’t do something to change it.
It’s possible, and it has been proven, that if you want to reinvent your life you can.
Instead of sticking to the same way of life or system of doing business, you can change in a meaningful way that will help you grow and be more prosperous.
Breaking a vicious life cycle is definitely not something you can just decide to change just like that… and it won’t happen overnight.
It’s a long process that requires persistence, courage, and determination.
The first and foremost thing to do in order to break the cycle is to do self-introspection.
We talk a lot about that chatter in your mind.
You have to figure out what the default thoughts and reactions are that are running through your head.
This can be scary for some people. But it doesn’t have to be.
We’re not looking to pass judgment. We’re just looking to understand why we do the things we do.
This process involves hard work, searching deep within your heart to find out who you are, what you want, and what you want to achieve in life.
You need to have an honest understanding of your personal behavior, strengths, areas in which you need to grow.
You also need to know your way of perceiving life, as well as an awareness of your emotional default in the circumstances that come your way.
The more you know about yourself, the easier it will be for you to get used to change, break the cycle, and work on your personal growth.
When you can figure out your weaknesses and why you do the things you do, or react the way you react, now you can work to improve on those habits and position yourself for success.
You need to look at yourself in the mirror and be self-aware by inviting feedback into your life.
But you’ll never gain the response you need without first becoming open to enough to ask for it.
It is also important to pursue transformation in your heart, which happens when you confront the limiting beliefs you might have built about yourself.
Life transformation and change takes place in your fundamental belief system.
When you’re taking this deep look at yourself, remember this is not judgment.
We’re not looking to determine if you are a good person or not.
We’re only looking to see why we are who we are.
Much of our personality, and our beliefs, and the way we see ourselves comes from past events – some of them even when we were a baby or small child.
Those things shaped the paradigm you have about your worth and your ability to project your best self to the world around yourself.
So, maybe we can say that you’re not responsible for who you are at some level, right?! 🙂
But saying that… when you know better you do better.
And making peace with an imperfect past is critically important to moving through pain and shame and into a healthy identity based upon worthiness and validation.
The journey to understand the life cycle begins when you check on your daily life.
You observe your reaction and feelings in different situations and events of life.
You have to be prepared to go through all the pain and pleasures of life, in the present moment.
In whatever you are doing, you are either living your past or creating your future.
Let’s say you have been trying to achieve at something for a long time and it hasn’t been working.
I’d say that’s a pretty good indication that you need to try it a different way or try something else.
It doesn’t mean that you are a failure.
But it shows that you are strong enough to realize when something is not working out you need to look for alternatives, something that will work better.
Break the cycle by interrupting your normal reaction when things happen.
All you need to do is to be strong and have courage and determination.
Each of us has a unique method for breaking their cycle.
When you encounter a problem, your immediate decision should be to not just react, but instead, investigate, plan, and think out new solutions.
Taking bold actions is the only solution that will link you in your cycle of growth.
You need to interrupt your normal way of reacting and change what you are doing.
There are numerous ways to interrupt your action.
If one doesn’t work, then try something else.
You need to change the behavior which may have led to previous failures.
As you’re moving forward towards your success, there will be things that set you back.
The adjustment to big changes isn’t a straight forward road.
It’s a bumpy road that moves up and down, just like a roller coaster.
But it’s never too late to start a new business, begin a new career, and get the degree you’ve always wanted, or go after your dreams.
Stop doing what you usually do and stop living on autopilot.
Get off the merry-go-round and empty the trash.
Decide what is best for you and what trash is.
Devise new and innovative ways to break new ground and create new life, habits, strategies, and create that new mindset – the one that will get you to where you want to be.
Now I’d love to hear from you.
