One of the things I love most about my business is that we have the ability to help others achieve their dreams if we can just help them have belief in themselves.
Throughout the years, Richard and I have been able to help many people.
Several years ago, we met Maria. She had two children at home and was in desperate financial trouble.
She was living in a tiny, broken-down house, and was about to lose it.
Maria joined our Avon team, and not only was she able to pay her rent, but it also didn’t take her long to be able to move into a better house – one that was a little bigger and wasn’t crumbling down around her.

That’s Just One of the Success Stories of our Representatives.
In the 17 years we’ve been with Avon, Richard and I have seen many.
We’ve watched Avon Reps change their lives, and promote up the ranks of Avon.
We’ve celebrated with Avon Representatives who have earned trips and totally changed their lives because of Avon.
But Today, I Want to Focus on One Very Special Couple – Rick & Tina Winrow.
Rick and Tina were living a good life. They were happy and comfortable and had no real complaints. They both had great jobs, but they had a desire to have the time and financial freedom that comes with a home business.
I’ve known these two for several years, and have even been in other businesses with them.
Both Rick & Tina are very hard workers. They jump in and take action.
They are consistent and willing to do what it takes to be successful.
But they have struggled with most of the businesses they’ve been in.
I Could See the Potential in Both of Them.
There was no doubt in my mind that they could be successful at anything they put their mind to.
So when Avon announced their latest Cruise to Bermuda incentive, Richard and I met up with them for dinner and showed them the incentive.
I told them that we would help them, and if they were committed they would earn this cruise.
Truth is, they looked at me like I was out of my mind. But I told them I believe in them and please give it a chance. There is nothing I wanted more than for them to go on this cruise with me.
Thankfully they trusted me enough to get signed up with Avon and give it a chance.
As I expected, Rick & Tina immediately got into action. They didn’t have the belief yet that they could earn this cruise, but they put that out of their mind. These two accepted that Richard and I believed, and that was enough for now.
They got busy and quickly grew their sales and their team, and grew their business faster than I even thought possible!

Was it Easy for Them?
No, of course not.
They had to deal with some very severe blows and setbacks along the way, but they didn’t let anything hold them back!
I wanted to share with you a post that Rick made on Facebook that pretty much makes me cry every time I read it. It’s very powerful!

Back in September of 2017 I hung this picture on my wall and said to myself it is possible. I would look at this picture every day.
I also knew that looking at this picture was not enough. Alongside that picture, I also had another picture that says DREAMS DON’T WORK UNLESS YOU DO.
At times I didn’t feel like working my Avon Business. But I would gaze at this picture and I would get to work. I would say things to myself like if it is to be it is up to me. Every setback, every disappointment. I would look at this picture and say YES I CAN. I would not allow nothing or anyone to stand in my way of achieving this.
In January I was struck with a devastating blow when I got a call that my Dad had passed away suddenly. The biggest Hero In my life was my dad. It kicked me right to the ground. It was Devastating for Tina and me. For 2 weeks the world stopped and I lay there on the ground with my guts kicked in.
Then all of a sudden I thought to myself what my dad would want me to do. And it was clear. I looked at this picture and instead of using my dad’s Passing as an excuse, I was going to use it as my reason. At that point, it would have been so easy to give up on it but that was not an option.
With the help of Lynn Huber and Richard Huber and the Support of Mark Allen and Laurie Allen and Our Downline, it gave us the strength we needed to push through.
Tonight I am taking this picture down and placing it in my dreams accomplished Folder
In just 2 short weeks we will be boarding this ship along with Lynn and Richard Huber Mark and Laurie Allen.
Tina and I could not have done this on our own. Thank you to our Amazing up line and downline. Next Year we want you with us. Just know that no matter what you have to do or challenges you have to go through, you can do this if you believe you can and are willing to put the work in to make it happen. Tina and I will be there to help you along.
Years ago my dad said you can do anything you set your mind to. Dad, this one’s for you DAD.
Rick & Tina Had Only Been in Avon for Just Over Six Months.
Already they’ve earned quite a bit of money, earned a cruise for both of them, and built the beginnings of a very strong team.
But that’s really no surprise because they are amazing leaders.
And so now… we all went on our Cruise to Bermuda.
Rick & Tina have never been on a cruise before, and I can’t tell you how excited I was to be there with them on their first cruise – especially since it’s all-expense-paid!
They worked hard, and they so deserve this amazing experience!
I am so incredibly proud of these two and incredibly honored that they partnered with Richard and me along this journey.
Along the way, we have become amazing friends! I LOVE these two!
